This was manufactured in India with original moulds supplied by ATM. These coloured models are very rare to find in this condition. Although not perfect its still in good condition. Around 20 years ago a friend and I had a contact in India supplying us with these unusual coloured Bakelite telephones. We only took the very best and rejected any with bad damage. Because they were made for the Indian market they got used to destruction and so only a tiny percentage of these rare telephones survived. The best colours were Pastel Blue, Pastel Green, Peach and Pink. They also came in Red, Ivory and I have seen a light brown. I still have most of the ones I collected although my friends half of the collection has been sold off over the years on Ebay. I have loads of telephones and other related items out of long term storage and am going through it all and restoring as they come to light. They rarely turn up now and most that do are the ones we rejected as too far gone. I believe the value in these telephones is the Bakelite parts and this one has a GPO No12 figure only dial. It has been fitted with a best quality all British manufactured hand plaited ivory braided handset cord, an electronic microphone and a GPO specification round plastic line in cord with a UK telephone plug socket. I can fit a dial label with your information at no extra charge. It has been cleaned and polished and totally rebuilt. It has been fully set up on a special line simulator and then tested on our own BT land line to make sure it is working perfectly. The imperfections are photographed and so please look at them to decide if you want to go ahead.
