This is a great example of an un-touched Ericsson GPO No16 telephone. These do turn up from time to time but they are usually in a terrible messed about condition. This one has all the original cords and a lovely wooded connection block marked 1913. The original cords still connected to the block are very rare to find. A very nice example with just a missing bell and bell spacer. The handset is the GPO specification and black plated. Note the mouth horn is marked No1. This telephone has had no restoration in its lifetime and as you can see is in very good as found condition. I havent cleaned this at all and so you an see how good it is. Note it has paint loss and some pitting etc so please look at the pictures carefully. Personally this is how I like to see them. This will make a fine addition to a collection for display. This model was made from around 1895 and was still in use and being factory refurbished until after the second world war. I have priced it quite low as I haven't had to do much work to it and is not being sold as a working item. Grab yourself a nice piece of telephone history. This one cam as a pair and the complete one was sold right away. If you want this then get in quick because its very cheap and very good.
