This is a nice wooden GPO bellbox 1924

This started life as a GPO No5 in 1924 and was later modified to a GPO No41. I have modified it to work as a simple extension bell and can be plugged into any UK telephone plug socket to give you the wonderful original bell sound. This has not been restored other than waxed and so has some knocks scratches and a little paint from its many years of life. See the pictures and the video to see an accurate description. This would be ideal to add to either a GPO 232 if you want the full blooded bell sound or one of my Pulse to tone candlestick telephones.
