This is a wonderful telephone and has been totally stripped down and rebuilt after each part has been cleaned and polished. As you can see it is a fine looking telephone and can assure you it looks even better in the flesh. It has been set up to work perfectly and will simply plug into your telephone socket and work perfectly to both dial out and receive. The handset is marked 1952 and the base and internals are marked 1954 which is a perfectly normal date range. The only imperfections are a very slight fade to the rear and a small crack in the mouthpiece as seen in the last picture below. It also has a near perfect original handset cord with no fraying at all and a good colour. Hens teeth as they say. Note the wonderful GPO crested drawer in near perfect condition. It is fitted with an electronic microphone and a GPO specification round plastic line in with a UK telephone socket plug This part would have come from a GPO telephone dated 1938 but collectors love to add them to their very best telephones if they can get hold of them. The dial is a genuine GPO No 12. I can fit a dial label with your information at no extra charge.
