This is a lovely genuine GPO 1/232 with drawer. The handset is marked 164 47/1. It is fitted with an electronic microphone, a best quality hand plaited braided cord and a GPO specification round plastic line in with UK telephone plug socket. It has a genuine GPO No12 chrome fronted dial. As you can see it is a wonderful telephone and has been stripped down and reassembled after each part has been cleaned and polished. This model has no internal bell and so I would recommend using it in conjunction with a GEC wall mounted GEC No 64d giving a full blooded double bell ring. I can fit a small bell inside at no extra cost but the bell sound is not loud and would be ideal in a bedroom etc. If the bell set 64d is bought with this telephone I will take off the £8 shipping charge.
