This is quite an unusual telephone made in the late 1970s. This one has the wall mounted shelf with internal bell set with bell on bell off switch. These were made in three standard colours the others being brown and light blue. There was also a commemorative jubilee model made in 1977. The wall mounted bell shelves are not common and this colour is usually very faded and so I would say a collectible of the future. This has been stripped down and rebuilt after each part has been cleaned and polished. It has been set up to work correctly using a special line simulator and then tested on our own BT land line to make sure it dials out and receives perfectly. This is fitted with an electronic microphone for perfect speech quality. The bell set has a small bend in the plastic to the rear as can be seen in the last photograph. Not noticeable but worth noting if you are a collector. I can make a dial label with your information at no extra charge.
