A fabulous example. This telephone has been totally stripped down and rebuilt after each part has been cleaned and polished. The genuine drawer strip and knob is slightly lighter in colour marked DF. I have fitted a very best quality hand plaited all British manufactured handset cord, a GPO specification round plastic line in cord and and an electronic microphone to bring the speech quality up to modern standards. It is fitted with a GPO No10 Alpha Numeric dial face and stainless steel finger wheel. It has been set up using a special line simulator to make sure the speed and contacts make and break are all correct to allow it to be used on a UK systems.
