This is a beautiful GPO 1/232 on a bell set No26. It has been totally stripped down and rebuilt after each part has been cleaned and polished. It has a GPO No12 alpha numeric dial and has been fitted with a very good quality all British manufactured new handset cord, an electronic microphone and a GPO specification round plastic line in cord with a UK telephone plug socket. All the parts are a great colour match. The only imperfection which were there in manufacture are a couple of darker dots moulded into the plastic in the handset and where the metal screw fixings were moulded into the handset to hold ear piece on has the faintest of expansion cracks (see detailed photographs below). Very minor and many telephones have these. Note the lovely rare mirror drawer. The bell set cover and line in are a perfect reproduction as good or better than an original. All the internals are genuine including the bell set. this is fully tested to dial out and receive perfectly. I can make a dial label with your information at no extra charge.
