This is a wonderful GPO 121 wooden wall telephone. It is dated 1932 and even has its original 1932 No10 dial with a perfect enamel alpha numerical dial face. I have stripped it down and externally and cleaned all the parts. The dial mount, mouth piece mount and switch hook have been painted but the bells are just cleaned to their original patina. The outside of the case has been re-painted with a colour and finish very similar to the original coat that would be used by the GPO. The dial has been stripped cleaned and polished and set up to the correct speed and all the contacts meticulously cleaned. The internals have been checked over and only brushed out to keep it totally as it was when manufactured. It still has its original wiring diagram pasted the door. I have fitted a best quality hand plaited reproduction braided cord and an electronic microphone. This telephone has been tested on a professional line simulator and on a BT line to make sure it is in perfect working order. When you consider this telephones age and condition it is as cheep as chips. If you would like it mounted on a backboard with writing shelf please add a further £150 and contact me when ordering.
This telephone has been converted so that it can be plugged into a UK telephone socket and away you go. Of course this will need to be mounted to the wall first.
You can telephone your order in or buy on line. I can take most credit debit cards.
Postage and packing is £20 to any UK address.
