This is a very rare red 328L with drawer. It is marked 328 CB PL 55 2A on the base and the handset is marked 164 54. The chassis is marked 328 CB PL 55 2A and the drawing inside is N0 328. It has been stripped down and reassembled after each part has been cleaned and polished. It has been fitted with an electronic microphone and retains the original braided handset cord it came with. This is a little sun bleached but not frayed. This tells me it has not had a hard life as very few still have a usable braided cord. It also retains a perfect enamel faced GPO No10 dial. The line in is a GPO specification round plastic lead with a UK plug socket fitting. The plastic parts have some fading but not uneven and in normal lighting conditions will not be noticeable. The handset ear and mouthpiece are slightly deeper in colour but again I am being quite critical. It has a chip at the rear but otherwise very good condition with a lovely high gloss shine. Bell On Bell Off models in red are very rare and in perfect condition would be at least £300 more than I am offering this one for. It is of course fully working to both dial out and receive and the button functions are fully operational. Grab yourself a bargain as I won’t get another for a long time.
