This is a beautiful example of a GPO 311L wall telephone dated 1952 on the handset and 1953 on the base. It has been totally stripped town and rebuilt after each part has been cleaned and polished. It has a genuine GPO No12 all metal dial with stainless steel finger wheel and alpha numeric dial face. This telephone is not for the purist as some of the wiring from the call exchange button was removed to allow for perfect modern working. It has been fitted with a very best quality hand plaited brown braided handset cord and a quality D shaped plastic line in cord with a UK telephone plug socket made by me and of course a fabulous electronic microphone made to our specification. It has been fully tested as working perfectly to dial out and receive. I can make a dial label with your information at no extra charge.
