This is a wonderful early Bakelite telephone made by Siemens Brothers of Woolwich. It is a real statement telephone and is a beautiful Art deco design. I had a batch of 15 and sold them all very quickly at £325 each. I love this model and so I am very pleased to be able to offer another on my site. This has been stripped down and rebuilt after each part has been cleaned and polished. It has its original No10 chrome fronted dial with a beautiful original enamel dial face. The internals have been changed for genuine GPO 200 series and the bell coils have been updated to 4000 ohms and so runs at 1 ren. This telephone has been fitted with an electronic microphone and a best quality hand plaited braided handset cord. It has been fully tested and will dial out and receive perfectly. This is an unusual telephone and so if you want to stand out from the crowd with a telephone that screams Art Deco then this is for you. This one is a real bargain because it has a small crack to the side which I have repaired using no paint and it would be hard to see even if I pointed it out. Please don’t hesitate as I don’t get them in very often and when I do they go like hot Cakes.
