This telephone is a wonderful example of a GPO No150 and dated 1929. As you can see it looks fabulous and has been totally stripped down and and rebuilt after each part has been restored to the best it can be. The black plated brass parts are not perfect but as you can see all original and in good condition. Not re plating these items saves a lot of money and so can be sold at a cheaper price. The black body and base is in perfect condition. The dial is a GPO No12 with alpha numeric dial face and stainless steel finger wheel. I have fitted very best quality braided cords to the the earpiece and to the telephone using a BT20 connection block to a quality D shaped plastic telephone cord with a UK telephone plug socket. Candlestick telephones are usually operated from electronics in the bell set but I have fitted a pulse to tone unit and electronic microphone allowing it to work perfectly without one. This allows you to use the ring from your existing telephones or simply plug a bell into a double socket. You can add a BT50E wall bell to give you a loud mechanical bell sound or a GEC 64 D bell set. The advantage to this is also that you can plug the bell into any socket in the house and it will operate as though attached to the telephone.  I can make a dial label with your information at no extra charge.
